The Walpole Arms has now reopened after undergoing extensive refurbishment and upgrade works.
The Walpole Arms at Itteringham has been taken over by a local farming family from Norfolk.
The Harrolds, who have been farming at nearby Oulton since the 1930s, are using their own land and other local producers to supply the re-launched business.
Food is the responsibility of head chef Sam Hanison who used to work at the 103 Restaurant in Norwich and is a former personal chef to Andrew Lloyd Webber.
Mr Hanison’s emphasis will be on using locally produced, high quality seasonal ingredients.
